Synetgies 7: Web 2.0 goes mobile. 10.03.2008, 19.15, ETH Zurich Room HG E33.1

An interactive workshop on the past, present and future developments of interactive mobile applications

Marc Stieger, student in the HSG Marketing Master programme and business development at OnEmotion, will briefly cover the basic concepts and the history of Web 2.0 as well as the current developments. Mark Forster, HSG Alumnus and founder of OnEmotion AG (very recently acquired by Goldbach Media), will then take over the stage and talk about current developments in the area of mobile internet and interactive mobile applications. He will do an interactive product presentation and he will lead an interactive workshop on the future of interactive mobile applications.

The topic will be covered from both, a technical as well as a business point of view. So we will learn/discuss about the technological developments as well as some key industry figures. For the concept of the next Synetgies event to work, we need as many people from different disciplines as possible. So please bring along your friends.

Active Noise Cancelling Revolution

Damping unwanted noise is a request that has arose from many sides. For families to rest easy, musicians to play in quiet rooms, scientist to have a vibration free laboratory and also for applications were stealth is crucial.

While for long time this need has been answered by passive isolation, now the door to active and intelligent countermeasures is opening. Anocsys, a mid sized swiss enterprise founded in 2004 is thereby leading the way.
